Job Description
Your primary focus will be on working with the client's data, applying data mining techniques, and building pipelines to implement forecasting models. You will work directly with clients to understand their business problems and determine the best value delivery methods. Additionally, you will participate in pre-sales activities by preparing and delivering demos to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients across various industries (primarily FMCG) to understand and solve their business problems.
- Employ advanced statistics and machine learning methodologies to reveal hidden patterns and insights within data, and identify and interpret relationships and trends in data, including factors that could influence research outcomes.
- Test hypotheses to identify mathematical foundations for creating or enhancing methods for obtaining and evaluating numerical data.
- Participate in pre-sales activities by preparing and delivering demos and presentations to prospective clients.
- Conduct data analysis, design, and implement data pipelines and models based on clients’ specific needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to build and maintain logical and physical data models for Business Intelligence Data Warehouses.
- Conduct ad-hoc research, design, and implement algorithms for specific industry use cases.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- B.A. or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research).
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Competence in Applied Statistics (Exploratory Data Analysis, Distributions Fitting, Inference on Populations, Regression Analysis).
- Proficiency in predictive analytics (Classification and Regression Models, Time-series analysis, and forecasting) and design of predictive research.
